An advice

This advice came from a traditional African prayer is so touching my heart, and I want to share with you all. Hopefully we can teach each of the value inside to our children and act them everyday in our life ...
Let us take care of the children,
for they have a long way to go.
Let us take care of the elders,
for they have come a long way.
Let us take care of those in between,
for they are doing the work.

My wishes 2 my B'day Daughter

For attractive lips,

speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes,

seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure,

share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair,

let a child run his fingers through it once a day.

For poise,

walk with the knowledge you never walk alone.

Happy B'day, my lil'l sweetheart, wish you always in good health, to be a down to earth person, and keep your faith to Allah SWT. Ayah, Bunda & kak Alif will always here for you, sweetie...

Just want to share my other old LOs

Here, I’ll show you my two LOs which actually I made about a year ago. Since 12”x12” become my most comfortable size ever, I never want to try smaller one, now I had to deal with 2 unique shapes of paper.
The first page, yes the blue monochrome one, I still tried to complete with 12”x12” paper coz I was not confident enough. I ‘ll tell you a story behind the photograph I used here. Actually that one took by my cousin in 2006, on Eid Mubarrak Day but she just gave it to me about two years later. Since the photograph pictured my son with his two cousins Zaki & Tisya in their wide smile and Moslem clothes, together with the fact that it became our first Eid Mubarrak without my Mama after her death of cancer, I pushed my self to make it into a scrapbooking page soon. I was so sure the title reflected my son and his cousin’s smile would be their granpa’s joy after his biggest lost.

In the second page, I still use monochrome style of brown. I made the photo in sephia, so it would look in harmony with the brown background. In that photo my son just ate chocolate bar, so you can see that his lips look like using a lipstick. Almost embellishments I cut from pattern paper, except the chipboard corner & aluminium cloth clip I bought in Daiso - 20 pieces in 1 pack ony for Rp 20.000,-

I made this LO for 3 days!

... just like I said, my brain is moving faster than my hands!
I was inspired of what my dear friend Ria Nirwana did on her latest LO, and then I tried to make a sketch from it, and create my own version page.
